How can I become a PTA member?

Membership is $10 per person OR $18 for 2 adult members in the same household (NEW for 2023/2024) and may be sent into school to your child’s teacher, mailed (see address below), or placed in the PTA mailbox in the Lindbergh office.

You may pay by cash, write a check* payable to Lindbergh PTA, or send via Zelle® to ptacharleslindbergh@gmail.com.

*Please include your name as it appears on the membership form in the Memo line.

When are the PTA meetings?

We usually meet on the second Wednesday of each month, during the school year. Our meeting times alternate between 4:30pm and 7:00pm, each month. Occasionally, we have virtual meetings via Zoom. Please check the calendar for meeting dates and times.

How can I volunteer?

We have many volunteer opportunities available, with varying degrees of commitment: Attend meetings, become a member, donate a monetary amount or items for an event, sponsor a lunch or part of an event, attend events, volunteer your time, chair/co-chair an event, or become a board member. Send us your info if you are interested volunteering. All volunteers must have a current background check on file. Please check with the school office to have a background check done or check the status of one (they expire every 3 years).

Can I help in my child’s classroom?

Each year, every classroom teacher needs between 2-3 homeroom parents to help with Holiday Boutique basket donation collection, classroom parties, and other various tasks. Reach out to your child’s teacher to ask about this opportunity.

What events does the PTA support?

Each year, the PTA organizes the Scholastic Book Fair, the Holiday Boutique in November, the Santa Shop in December, Teacher’s Appreciation Week in May, as well as Popcorn Fridays, Field Day and an end of the year Fun Fair in June. You can see a full list of our events on the Event Calendar.

Where does my membership fee go?

Annual Membership Dues: $10 per person - $4.50 goes directly to the Lindbergh PTA fund, $3.25 goes to Michigan PTA dues and $2.25 goes to National PTA dues.

NEW for 2023/2024: $18 for 2 adult members in same household - $7 goes directly to the Lindbergh PTA fund, $6.50 goes to Michigan PTA dues and $4.50 goes to National PTA dues.
