2025 Staff Appreciation Week

We had an awesome time celebrating our fantastic Lindbergh Staff!

We celebrated Staff Appreciation Week Monday, May 5th through Friday, May 9th - with the theme of “Level Up”. A special thank you to our fantastic HRPs for their appreciation posters, classroom gifts and all the extras you've helped with this week and throughout the year.

Monday -

We started off the week with the Bakri Coffee Roasters truck thanks to a generous donation from the Anani family and Einstein Bros. Bagels in the staff lounge.

Tuesday -

Snack cart with pastries, fruit, beverages and more delivered to staff members!

Wednesday -

Rafic’s Falafel catered an AMAZING lunch thanks to Aya and Michael Berry’s generous donation. Staff also enjoyed delicious desserts from Dearborn Balloon Decor and Sugar Rush Cookies! A special thank you to an anonymous PTA member for purchasing gift cards for the ENTIRE Lindbergh staff!

Thursday -

Staff breakfast in the lounge provided by Paris Baguette!

Week two Thursday -

Mobile car wash in the staff parking lot thanks to Strictly Hands Auto Spa Wash! Gift cards provided by FordCarWash for staff members who weren’t in the lot/were absent. Thank you to an anonymous PTA member for their generous donation!

Wednesday, 5/21 May PTA Meeting 4:15pm Join us for the LAST PTA meeting of the year to discuss recent and upcoming events - children always welcome!

Friday, 5/30 6 - 8pm Fun Fair A night of family fun with carnival-inspired games, prizes, inflatables, dunk tank, cake walk, face painting, and more! Ticket presale Wednesday 5/28 and Thursday 5/29 at pickup. Tickets will also be sold at the event and are needed for activities & most food items. 2 tickets/$1, 10 tickets/$5, 25 tickets/$10 & 50 tickets/$20. Volunteers sign up HERE! (Volunteers will receive 4 free tickets the day of the event for every shift they work!) We will also need donations of baked goods for the Cake Walk, check out more information HERE. Monday, 6/2 Field day (Rain Day 6/3) A fantastic outdoor event during the school day that gives our students a chance to show some class pride and spend the afternoon being active.  On field day students are encouraged to wear their class color school spirit shirts. Volunteers please wear a Lindbergh shirt or a red t-shirt (purchase spirit wear HERE or HERE).

There will be wet and dry stations - comfortable clothes, gym shoes, a refillable water bottle, a towel & sunscreen (labeled) are suggested for students and volunteers. Please click this NOTE about sun safety. This fun event requires A LOT of volunteers to ensure our students stay safe and have a great time - check out the signup HERE.
