Earth Week Bingo for Books

We had an amazing time with over 60 Lindbergh students, family members and friends playing bingo, nibbling on pizza and snacks, winning raffle prizes and taking home lots of books at our Earth Week themed Bingo for Books on April 24th!

THANK YOU to Nour, Sophie, Mia, and Adam for volunteering - we appreciate the support and encouragement for literacy from all our Lindbergh parents!

This was Lisa Fawaz and Lindsey Tilley’s last bingo for books as event chairs as they focus on other projects. Lisa and Lindsey’s enthusiasm for literacy and creating fun opportunities for our students will be missed. BUT we’re happy to introduce our new Bingo for Books Chair - Fatin Sobh! We CAN’T wait to see what she has planned for the 2025-2026 school year.

5/5 - 5/9 Staff Appreciation Week If you’re looking for gift ideas for all your favorite staff members, click HERE for staff questionnaire responses. We’re also looking for two parent volunteers to help supervise and take kids to lunch or recess for each classroom so our teachers can enjoy an extended lunch on Wednesday. Please sign up HERE if you are available to help. Thank you to our Homeroom Parents for making appreciation posters and organizing gifts for our teachers and a huge thank you to our Lindbergh parents who made generous donations toward next week's activities!

Wednesday, 5/21 May PTA Meeting 4:15pm Join us for the LAST PTA meeting of the year to discuss recent and upcoming events - children always welcome!

Friday, 5/30 6 - 8pm Fun Fair A night of family fun with carnival-inspired games, prizes, inflatables, dunk tank, cake walk, face painting, and more! Tickets will be sold at the event and are needed for activities & most food items. 2 tickets/$1, 10 tickets/$5, 25 tickets/$10 & 50 tickets/$20. Volunteers sign up HERE! (Volunteers will receive 4 free tickets the day of the event for every shift they work!) We will also need donations of baked goods for the Cake Walk, check out more information HERE. Monday, 6/2 Field day (Rain Day 6/3) A fantastic outdoor event during the school day that gives our students a chance to show some class pride and spend the afternoon being active!  On field day students are encouraged to wear their school spirit class shirts they received earlier this school year.

There will be wet and dry stations - comfortable clothes, gym shoes, a refillable water bottle, a towel & labeled sunscreen are suggested for students and volunteers. Please click this NOTE about sun safety. This fun event requires A LOT of volunteers to ensure our students stay safe and have a great time - the sign up will be available soon.
